September 16 is crossword constructor Kevin Der's birthday. Caleb Madison and Michael Sharp teamed up to make a puzzle in Kevin's honor. Enjoy!

{Ford explorer?} and {Safety dance site?} are awesome. overall, very fun puzzle. my only complaint is that there are too many cross-referenced clues for my tastes: 9a/46d, 25d/64a, 66d/6d, 62d/47d ... felt like i was jumping all over the grid.
fyi, my birthday is 1/3. i'm waiting for somebody find all the phrases with PAHK hidden in them. or JOON. i'm not picky!

Alas, everyone missed their opportunity to make a puzzle for my birthday. Maybe for my half-birthday (2/15)?

Good puzzle, congrats to Michael and Caleb. The NE killed me - didn't know either NITRO or NICO (had to google them), and ROSH was a blind guess. STILL do not see ON THE DL for hush-hush. ON THE QT is what I would have thought.
