Save the date! Chicago crossword tourney on 4/16

The good people at Marbles: The Brain Store are hosting Chicago’s 3rd Annual Crossword Tournament on the afternoon of Saturday, April 16.

The registration fee’s just $15 before April 1, $25 thereafter. The proceeds benefit the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, a worthy cause.

    Loved joon’s puzzle, though it took two tries separated by a longish snooze! I had Whip Lash for DEAD STOP, which took a while to rectify, and Marmots for DORMICE. Still managed to conquer it all without help, and was highly pleased in the end!
