If you haven’t subscribed to the AV Club puzzles because paying the $22 subscription fee isn’t affordable, there’s good news—you can email Ben Tausig at [email protected] and let him know you’d like the free subscription. Same great puzzles, no charge. No questions asked—you need not explain your financial situation.
From now through next Wednesday, June 13, donations to the AV Club tip jar will be earmarked for the pool that covers the free subscriptions. If you would still subscribe even if the subscription cost were doubled, it would be cool of you to contribute a few bucks to make more free subscriptions available.
Those of you who didn’t attend the Indie 500 crossword tournament this past weekend and haven’t ordered the puzzles to solve at home, I strongly encourage you to spend $10 to get the puzzles!
